INGLOT

The refurbishment of Inglot’s Epping Plaza store required full demolition of the existing space and a complete re-instatement. The addition of plumbing, electrical and data cabling, plastering, tiling, ventilation, air-conditioning and a new shop front resulted in Design by Kor completely kitting-out this international brand’s Epping retail store.

IN:TRANSIT

Design by Kor in conjunction with Hot design and GPT have created a new outdoor retail and casual dining precinct. Taking inspiration from food truck parks and capitalising on the interest in pop-up stores and temporary retail spaces, four shipping containers and a significant landscape package have formed Highpoint’s IN:TRANSIT space, shaping a dynamic and non-permanent retail space. Each container has had a variety of services added and incorporates bespoke customised joinery to cater for all tenancy types.

Antenna

Portable, flexible, hand-crafted kiosks bring uniformity and sophistication to short term lease retail tenanting. The two-part system allows the tenant to create a space to trade, whilst offering a large display area with directional lighting to highlight products. These kiosks can be manoeuvred easily in and around shopping centres and then locked into position with discrete industrial castors.

Each each kiosk is powered to facilitate electrical displays and EFTPOS systems. Design features include: overhead signage, ample storage, functional display spaces and lockable discreet storage with display arms and shelves.

The Wooden Crate

To conjure the sense of being at an open-air market, these mobile activation kiosks are based on the traditional fruit and vegetable crate. Scattered throughout Highpoint’s fresh food courtyard, their frame is constructed with stainless steel, shelled by recycled Queensland spotted gum and finished with organic sealers.

Although these units weigh over 200 kilos each, they are designed to be easily wheeled to indoor or outdoor areas, allowing them to adapt to changing needs. Internal slide out tables and stools morph into a variety of configurations, offering complete flexibility. Some even house sinks, cooktops and microwaves to allow quick and adaptable kiosk options.
